Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.

This group meets every month on the 3rd Monday @ 1:00 PM in the Dogwood Room at Abernethy Laurels. Enter through the main entrance and sign in at the receptionist desk.Parking can be found in the circle area at the Main Entrance with the portico, or at the white house to the left when you turn in from Highway 16.Susan Roddey is the Facilitator and she can be reached at 828-465-8546 or sroddey@everyage.org
