Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.

Additional Information

This caregiver support group meets the 1st Wednesday of every month from 2 pm to 3 pm at Pana Community Hospital. Respite care is offered during each meeting. For details regarding respite care, please call 217.562.6380. Caregivers will meet in the Community Meeting Room; respite is in the Lower Level Conference Room.

Hosted by Hickory Estates Memory Care, Pana Community Hospital, Pana Health and Rehab, and Quad County Home Health and Hospice.
