Join the Alzheimer's Association for a special presentation as we honor Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.
In this presentation, Brian Chicoine, MD will provide an overview of Alzheimer's disease in
people with Down syndrome, including why Alzheimer's disease is more common in adults with Down
syndrome compared to adults without Down syndrome. He will also describe similarities and differences
in the presentation, progression, and treatment of Alzheimer's disease in adults with Down syndrome
and strategies to support individuals with Down syndrome and Alzheimer's disease and their families
and caregivers.
