People with early stage Alzheimer's, another dementia or Mild Cognitive Impairment amd a family member, care partner, or friend are invited tojoin us for a docent-guided tour of the Legion of Honor museum in San Francisco. Artful Discoveries tours are interactive and provide a chance to join a small group of participants in looking and talking about art--no previous experience required! Specially trained museum docents will highlight themes, artists, and exhibitions at the museum. This is a free program, but space is limited and pre-registration and pre-screening are required.
Registration for this program closes at 12:00 noon PST on the Friday before the event.
This program is designed for people living with early stage dementia or mild cognitive impairment, and a care partner, companion, family member, or friend. All persons with a diagnosis must attend with a partner.
