Growing Connections is a free gardening program designed exclusively for people with early-stage dementia and for their care partners. Created in 2017 by the Hennepin County Master Gardeners, this six week series of classes is offered in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association and focuses on learning and having fun in the moment. No garden, gardening experience, or green thumb required! You’ll enjoy activities like growing microgreens, creating a fairy garden, learning about backyard birds, and more.
