TheEarly-Stage Social Engagement Programoffers a fun and comfortable way for people living in the early stage of Alzheimer's or other dementia to get out, get active and get connected with one another through a variety of social events and community-based activities determined by individual needs and interests of the participants and that promote social interaction and companionship.
This program, offered through the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, is for individuals who are living in the beginning stage of Alzheimer's or other dementia and their care-partners. Each multisensory workshop will highlight one or two pieces of art from our current exhibitions. Through careful looking, story telling, music & poetry, we will discover together the relationship between art, music and memory.
Pre-registration is required. To register, please contact Tina Hogan at 860-412-8029 or thogan@alz.org
