Discuss Brain and Heart Connection for Stroke Awareness Month with guest speaker Dr. Paul Wright, Senior Vice President Systems Chair Neuroscience Institute at Nuvance Health.Dr. Paul Wright is a board-certified neurologist and healthcare leader with extensive experience in cerebrovascular disease, stroke management, and medical innovation. He serves as the Senior Vice President and System Chair of Neurosciences at Nuvance Health, overseeing neurology, neurosurgery, neurointerventional surgery, and physical medicine and rehabilitation across multiple hospitals. Dr. Wright is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and an active member of the American Neurological Association and American Heart Association.Dr. Wright earned his Doctor of Medicine from Sackler School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency and cerebrovascular fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University, combining clinical expertise with strategic leadership. Throughout his career, Dr. Wright has held key academic and administrative roles and he has made many contributions to stroke research, medical technology innovation, and resident education that have been widely recognized and are shaping the future of neurology care.
