Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.
This virtual caregiver support group is for those experiencing bereavement over the loss of a loved-one who had Alzheimer's or other dementia. You do not need to live in Washington State or have ever attended an Alzheimer's Association support group. It meets the 1st Tuesday of the month from 6 - 7:30pm Pacific Time.
