The purpose of early-stage support groups is to provide a safe and supportive environment of peers who are living in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and the care partners. These groups offer dementia-related education, emotional support and connections with resources so that the group members may enhance their lives in the midst of the disease.
This monthly support group is for caregivers and individuals living with Parkinson's Disease and wanting to learn more about dementia. This group is open to the public and is a collaboration with the Hawaii Parkinson's Association.
We meet in the Activity Room at Regency at Puakea.
