Hospitalization and emergency room visits are always more difficult to navigate if you or your loved one has a dementia diagnosis. This presentation will walk you through anticipating and planning for potential health crises. We will also discuss some of the risks associated with hospitalization and how to support the person living with dementia during an emergency room visit and/or hospital stay. Families are welcome, and free CEUs are available for nurses and social workers.
