We'll review the basics of these conditions, services of the Alzheimer's Association and how we can expand the reach of local programs and services. Bring a friend and share your thoughts about how the Alzheimer's Association can help more people in your community.

Albany Institute of History and Art
Megan Brown, Director of Education, and Natalie Oliver, Education Associate, are representing the Albany Institute of History & Art’s program Meet Me at the Institute.
Meet Me at the Institute is a free program designed for people with dementia and their caregivers. Held on select Mondays, sessions occur when the museum is closed to the public—minimizing distractions and providing a relaxing environment. Sessions are led by trained educators who facilitate open-ended discussions about the Albany Institute's exhibitions and collections. This program is based upon Meet Me at the MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art’s Alzheimer’s project.
Songs by Heart with Opera Saratoga
Songs by Heart is an engagement-centered program developed for Memory Care Communities where a professional level singer leads an interactive sing-along. The singers use therapeutic techniques such as mirroring, verbal and gestural promptings, making direct eye contact, and holding hands with residents throughout the program. Singers encourage residents to join in the singing, clapping, and dancing, as well as engage in conversations centered around the musical selections.
AllWays Dance
Ashley Evola is the founder and lead instructor of the AllWays Dance program, a movement-based experience designed to make dance and wellness accessible to indviduals of all abilities. With a background in Communication Sciences and Disorders and extensive experience working with seniors and adults with disabilities, Ashley brings a thoughtful, inclusive approach to every class she creates. AllWays Dance combines chair-based movement, gentle yoga, breathwork, and engaging music into a fully seated, 45-minute program that supports cognitive engagement, physical mobility, and emotional well-being. Through her work, Ashley is passionate about creating meaningful, joyful movement that foster connection, confidence, and an improved quality of life of all participants.
