This is a day for caregivers to step away for a moment to care for yourself, gain some education & support while walking away with some valuable resources for your caregiving journey. As hosts of this event, our goal is to create a platform from which caregivers can learn the skills necessary to provide quality care for a person with dementia. Lunch will be provided along with a self care Yoga activity Keynote Education: Jessica DesRosiers-Alzheimer’s Association of CNY Building Brain Healthy Habits Taekwondo Yoga Self Care Activity: Na-Taba Instructor Caregiver Assistance Tools Elizabeth Weimer- Oswego County Office of Aging Conference is free. Space is limited. Advanced registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
