Learn about Alzheimer's, dementia and memory loss in this brief community-focused listening session. We'll review the basics of these conditions, services of the Alzheimer's Association and how we can expand the reach of local programs and services. Bring a friend and share your thoughts about how the Alzheimer's Association can help more people in your community.

Additional Information

This forum is intended for LGBTQIA2S+ community members over the age of 18, service providers for both LGBTQ+ older adults along with those who serve the queer community at large.

The event will feature a welcome reception with food and beverages provided by the Alzheimer's Association and Eddy Alzheimer's Services, and several local resource tables available to peruse. We will then host our intergenerational roundtable discussion and meal, facilitated by local community members and local queer organizational leaders discussing ways for queer young adults and queer elders to better work together. We will end with some Q and A, table discussion, and networking.

If you require transportation, please make sure to keep an eye on your email so we can coordinate. Please note all those who require transportation must RSVP by November 6th for coordination purposes.Those who RSVP after this date will not be guaranteed transportation.
